Thompson & Associates was founded in 1980 by attorney Clifford Thompson. Jim Thompson joined the family firm in 1994, and attorney Nan Thompson Katsaboulas joined in 2005. Our firm concentrates in the field of lobbying and government relations with special emphasis in the Mississippi Legislature. We particularly enjoy working with our clients in the fields of economic development, entertainment, insurance, public health, public utilities, commercial and mixed-use real estate developments, taxation, telecommunications, and transportation. Over the years we have represented numerous small businesses, professional associations, and Fortune 500 companies. Our firm has over 50 years of direct lobbying experience in the Mississippi Legislature.
